Conference participation
The conference is designed to provide an opportunity for representatives from key partners in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training sector (government, academics, practitioners, civil society, and donors) to review experiences and discuss strategies for skill development in the informal sector. The skills that will be focussed on in this conference should also be applicable to the broadband internet and other new media.
It is anticipated that 200 people from the government, civil society and donor organizations will participate in the conference.
Speakers and chairpersons will be drawn from the following groups:
- Government
- Universities and research organisations
- Donor agencies
- Private sector
- other development practitioners
